Very bad school. I can't believe they sell drugs in between them. Not a safe environment for people that want to learn it is dangerous. I legit found pills under the stairs.
Ali Alhashami, we clearly know you lied about finding pills under the stairs because Crestwood doesn't have a second floor, therefore they don't have stairs, so don't post lies. Crestwood is an ok school, some teachers are definitely better than others, but overall its ok
I graduated from Crestwood High School in 2009 and I take great pride in the education I received. All of my teachers throughout my entire four years were very knowledgeable. I mean to the point that they are obviously over qualified. They were such wonderful instructors managing to teach effectively while being faced with the challenge of sometimes unruly classrooms. The fact that many students were out of line during class hours was never because they didn't respect the teacher enough. It was because they didn't respect their educational opportunity and thought school was a place to hang out and act out. At this point all of my teachers, in their own way, regained control of the situation and the students at fault were always reported, disciplined, the report gets filed. Nobody got away with anything unless there weren't any teachers or administrators around to witness it. I heard there is video surveillance now but when I attended security guards were hired the day after a bad fight broke out. The same security guys ended up friends with everybody at the school and even mentored / befriended some of the more troubled-trouble makers and there weren't any more fights. The students would still try so hard to do anything but take advantage of the educational opportunity. They would go out of their way to taunt anyone in any way. The administrators and security guards acted like a police force when any threat was made to someone's safety. Unofficial lock downs and hallway patrols were common occurences. All of the staff at Crestwood did the absolute best they could every minute they were on school grounds. Not only did they exceed every expectation you would have of a teacher (like caring about our education more than we did), they did things for us you would not imagine a teacher would ever care to. It's hard to help someone if they don't want your help but they managed to play the parent doing whatever it takes to ensure we got the best opportunities. I've even seen janitors escorting students to the office after witnessing a violation of the code of conduct because they can see the high standards in effect and the zero tolerance policies. While some people did goof off the rest of us just had to listen and take notes. As a student I always asked questions sometimes beyond the scope of the curriculum and I always received a thorough and clear answer. Even during a fast paced lecture if I didn't understand something I'd always raise my hand and the instruction would stop until my question was completely answered and I'm back on track with the lecture. Lectures were always well thought out and delivered in a way that makes it easy to understand and follow along. Like trying to inform someone about something you're passionate about. I learned so many things that went beyond what we were expected to know for the tests and quizzes. An educated person like myself is highly distinguishable in the mass public in this day and age. My success as a self started self motivated self employed service technician is a direct result of my four year experience at Crestwood High School. Cafeteria food was good Pizza Hut, Torminas, GFS products, salad bar / sub station always fresh. There is not a legitimate complaint that I can think of for this fine educational establishment.
I've moved schools a couple times and this is the worst school ive been to. I don't recomend going here . The school is very dirty and has no A/C. The majority of students here were very disrespectful and reckless. The teachers and staff don't care about the students, and the "learning" experience here was pathetic. This place was like a zoo. I don't recommend going here.
It's a great school despite some idiot's and that ugly ass biology teacher Mr MOARAN the school is awesome
